We have an order that is shipping from a Consignment Location called “PCSN” this is not a bin mandatory location and we only required received as we are not actually shipping the order.
Once the consignment ship out the order – we create a Sales Order and we will use Posting >>> Post Ship and Invoice.
The issue on this order is that there is a Kit Item on one of the sales line and when we try to do the Post Ship and Invoice – we are getting this error message “You have not packed all that is to be shipped”.
I think the Kit Item is causing this issue.
Normal NAV Function would have been to create a warehouse shipment and then picked and registered the pick if the item is a kit and then we can post the shipment in Warehouse Shipment. But since this location is not bin controlled nor do we required shipment – a warehouse shipment is not created.
How can we fix this issue?
We do not want to have to use Fast Pack for this thinking we can just used the Post Ship and Invoice under the Sales Order and we do not want to set it up as a bin controlled location. We already have inventory in this Consignment location.

This is coming from your EShip Setup and Packing Rules. You may want to setup a new packing rule for your third party warehouse or remove the Shipping Agent Code on all orders coming from that warehouse. It’s been a couple of years since I used EShip, but I know it’s all in the setup.
Hope this points you in the right direction.
