      Hi all,

We use configuration packages to import Released Production Orders from Excel into NAV 2016. We determine the document numbers based on the last number used in the number series prior to import, but once the documents are imported the “Last No. Used” is not updated in the No. Series, which causes problems when users want to manually create released production orders after we have done an import.

We have “Manual Nos.” set to Yes in the No. Series, and we do validate the document number field in the configuration package. Is there any way for NAV to update the Last No. Used in the No. Series as part of the configuration package import, or do we have to manually change the “Last No. Used” each time we import a package?

      Thanks!

Have you considered importing the information into the Planning Worksheet and letting the Planning Worksheet create the Production Order?
