I have adjust the column widths on several screens in BC, but upon restart they all revert back to their original setting. This is very frustrating since I have to adjust my screens every day. Is there a way to make these changes permanent?

I’m not seeing this behavior on the SaaS version 20. What version are you on and is this on prem?

    Thanks,
    Devraj

It is on prem and I’m not sure of the version we are on.

You should be able to Personalize your pages which should stick after you re-start BC. You can do this if you have the permission. You will also be able to show/hide columns as needed. Navigate to the page you want to adjust, then Settings > Personalize…

    Chris,

If this is on prem I’m wondering if maybe something is “saved” with the older version of your personalization that you should just start from scratch. There is a page in the system for User Personalization that you can find yourself and delete the pages in question entirely from that screen. That will revert you to the standard page view and be a fresh copy for you to tweak from! (ie unplug it and plug it back in)

    Hi Spencer,

I don’t see where you can “delete the pages in question” from User Personalization. We are on BC16, and User Personalization has a default profile and “clear ALL personalizations”. Is what you propose on a newer version?

    Hi Chris,

Looks like the name may have changed a bit, on older versions it is called “Delete User Personalization.” This page is a list of users and pages in the systems that are personalized and you can select and delete any number of them to reset that page specifically!

It might also be called ‘Personalized Pages.’ I’m not sure what it was called in v16.
