Looking at the Assembly Set up in Navision 2017, there is a box to check or uncheck for “create movements automatically”.Ā  Does this need to be checked so that individual items are taken out of inventory when they are assembled in an assembly order and then the new assembly is added to inventory?Ā  Or does this mean something else?

Also is there someplace to find out what the different choices on set up actually mean?Ā  There is nothing on this using F1-help.

      Thank you.

Checking this makes it so you don’t have to do “Create Inventory Movement” in an assemble-to-order process.

Information about that checkbox is available below

Create Movements Automatically Field, Assembly Setup Table

I would recommend MSDN pages for information about other fields. Sometimes the descriptions are a bit terse, but the documentation is very complete online.
