      We have set up our Purchase Invoices for approval.Ā  In the past, whenever I entered an invoice and requested approval, it sent an request to my supervisor so she would know to go in and approve.Ā  In the last month, when selecting the approval request, she is no longer getting this notification.Ā  Has something changed or is anyone else having this issue?

      Hi Kim,

      Yes, having the same issue. If you navigate to Job Queue Log Entries, you will see an Error Message for Object IDR 1509. The error is “Cannot send the email. No email account have been added”.Ā 

      All of our approval workflow email notification have this error since we updated to Wave1 2022 (Version 20).

      I would love to get some insight on what has changed from v19 to v20 that has caused this issue.

      Sylvie, I am seeing the same error message when I go to the Job Queue Log Entries.Ā  Hopefully somebody has a fix for this.

      Hi Kim,

      So it seems that our SMTP Setup was blown away when we updated to v20 on the weekend. There was mention of this happening but there was going to be a connector that would bridge our SMTP with the new Email Setup. Well…that did not happen. I have now setup our generic D365 email using the Email Accounts > New. Information found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-ca/dynamics365/business-central/admin-how-setup-email#add-email-accounts
