We have an application that records attendees at conferences etc.

The point is for attendees to find out where they are sitting.Ā  To do this I am proposing to use a slicer where the attendee can select their name.

I am looking for a visual showing the seating plan and when the attendee selects their record on the slicer the table and and seat is highlighted on the seating plan.

One problem is each conference is entirely variable in terms of number of tables and seats per table.Ā  This is easily handled in the data of course but the associated visual is difficult / impossible?

If anybody has the slightest idea how to achieve this if it is possible I would be delighted to hear about it.

      Paul

      Hello Paul,
May be the Synoptic Panel by OKViz will do the job. I never used it personaly so I’m not totally sure. You can find videos about it on youtube.
