      Hi Guys,

      Ā

Hope you doing all well. I am very new to PBI.

      Ā

I have a table visual. But, when i export the data from table visual in PBI Desktop. I am getting only 67 rows instead of 980 rows.

      Ā

I don’t know why this thing is happeneing. Is any configuration required to export all the data or any tips.Ā

      Ā

      Please suggest me.

      Ā

      Thanks in advance,

      Mehbub

      Hi Mehbub,

The export data option on a visual (graph or table) only exports the data shown in that visual…if you want to export the full table, go to the modelling tab (the second of the three icons in the left-hand black bar in PBI desktop – the one that looks like a table), select the columns in the table you want and in the Home tab of the ribbon click on Copy, then paste into Excel.

(note there’s a bug in the Oct 2017 release of PBI desktop where you cannot right click on the columns and select ‘Copy’ so you have to use the ribbon option instead)

      Thanks

      Rishi

      Hi,

      Thank you for the response.

I didn’t tried yet your suggestion , but i got complete data by keeping “don’t summarize” for all the fields.

      Strange but worked.

I will try your suggestion too next.

      ?Mehbub,

Are you referring tot eh final output or the query in query editor? If the latter then you need to refresh the query as it only loads a preview initially. If it’s the former, then you need to share more information about the issue, such as the nature of your data, the query you are using to fetch it, which type of table you are using etc..

      Simon

?Your data source is via a query in Power BI, so even if it is the most simple of queries there is a query feeding the Power BI report. Edit your query and check to see if there is a filter in there that you are unaware of. Also check that you haven’t got an SQL statement in the connection.
