#TipOfTheWeek – #PowerAutomate
Do you know that you can set up an alert based on any data on your Power BI service (dashboard, report, etc…) using Power Automate? Yes, not just alerts based on cards or visuals, you can also set up alerts based on any change in your data model.
All you need is the ‘Run a query against a dataset’ template, and use DAX to query the data to be monitored:
The DAX query (inside the ‘Run a query against dataset’) needs the following structure:
- Use “DEFINE” to start your query.
- Use “VAR” to define variable / s.
- Use “EVALUATE” to determine which data to return to the flow from the query.
