March completes our first full month on the new Microsoft Power BI User Group (PUG) Platform. These are some of the highlights and exciting things that happened throughout the month.

PUG Website Hits 100 User Groups

The newly revamped PUG website has now reached 100 Local User Groups!  Newest User Groups to join the PUG platform include Huntsville, Houston, Los Angeles, Nepal, and Vietnam. The website continues to see growth in user adoption every day. Please join me in welcoming all of our new User Groups!

      PUG of the Month

Congratulations to Hans Kristiansen and the Norway PUG on being named the PUG of the Month! Hans worked to invite the most Power BI Users to his PUG Community. Read more about the Norway PUG here.

      Monthly Meeting Spotlight

There were many User Groups that hosted meetings in March 2017. One of those groups was the Portland PUG. Portland PUG Leader, Ron Ellis Gaut organized an evening at the CSG Pro Office in Portland focused around R Scripts and Visuals, SSAS vs Desktop, Demos of Helpful Techniques and New Desktop Features. The night included several guest presenters and gave attendees the opportunity to engage with the community and network with peers.

Would you like to see your User Group featured here next month? Send PUG Manager, Quinne Germain quinne.germain@pbiusergroup.com photos and a recap from your meeting.
