Hi,

we are trying to create a line chart which shows the month wise sales and target value.
The requirement is in such a way that till current month we need to show the sales value – solid line
for future months we need to show the target value – dotted line

 Any suggestions on how to achieve this..

The way I have solved such cases in the past is to create two measures: One for sales that evaluates to blank for future periods and one for target that evaluates to blank for past periods.

To make the lines connect, you set the target measure to equal sales for the current period.
