We’ve received a lot of questions on how to get a new PUG started on pbiusergroup.com! If you had previously started the new user group process, we are still asking that you resubmit your information on the new PUG site. But don’t worry – it is very easy! Here are the steps:
1) Go to our Be a Volunteer page and click on Launch a New Power BI User Group (PUG)! opportunity. Click on APPLY TODAY to launch the form.
2) When you press APPLY TODAY!, an online application form will pop up asking you to fill out the your new PUG’s description, logo, number of attendees, location, and upcoming event details. 3) When you are done, please press SUBMIT to finish your application. 4) The PUG Support Team will follow up with you about your application and schedule a meeting to discuss leader orientation. Due to the large group of new PUG applications, we are recommending that all new PUG leaders sign up for theMarch 2 PUG Leader Webinar. You can find this webinar on the TRAINING EVENTS page under the EDUCATION navigation.
