SL – change employee Pay Type

    We want to change a long-term employee from Pay Type “hourly” to Pay Type “salary”. When we select “hourly” we receive the following message: “System Message 6950 The Pay Type for this employee cannot be changed until the unreleased and unpaid timesheets for this Employee are processed.” There are no unprocessed timesheets; we import time for hourly employees into SL Time and Dollar batches, and everything has been processed. We closed the previous month and there are no new batches existing. Does anyone know a solution for this?

    We are able to change the pay type for some employees, but not others, so this is puzzling.
