I am looking to update our labor rates on our manufactured items at year end.
We are currently on GP10.
I am rather new to this software. This is only my second year end close, and last year we didn’t update the Labor & OH rates.
First, I need to understand the process / order for:
* Rolling the Current costs to Standard
* Setting the new Labor & OH rates
* Rolling up the BOM’s
Then secondly, I need to be able to run a report that will provide not only individual net change in Material / Labor & OH by item, but provide a grand total, so that I can say what the net overall change was in our inventory value. Break it down into the Material, Labor & OH components.
Can you help provide some guidance?
