A few months back, several of us who are credentialed through Dynamics Communities were asked why we felt it was important to be credentialed in Dynamics GP.

For me, it was about having a way to prove skills.  My job description is “Senior Dynamics GP Consultant”, but what’s in a title?  Therefore, being able to say that I am an Advanced Credentialed Professional in Dynamics GP can instantly relate to clients, employers and those attending my webinars and presentations that I am proficient both technically and functionally in Dynamics GP.  An instant communication of provable skill.  And, I kind of like having that DCP after my name (Dynamics Credentialed Professional).

These tests that prove capability and knowledge are written by All Stars and MVP’s and other leaders in the Dynamics space.  They are closely monitored and are a reliable way to set the standards for accomplished and skilled individuals in our community.

I am currently one of several people with the Advanced Credential and I proudly show that logo in my signatures and presentations.  It’s a great way to remind myself (especially as I get nervous before presentations or new interviews with clients) that I have proven that I am qualified and capable.  And, let me tell you, it has made all the difference in the world to be able to go toe-to-toe with awesome people and have that credential to back me up.

You guys that are on here have already taken the steps to increase your knowledge and learning, why not go ahead and obtain the credentials to prove it?  Upon passing, you’ll be able to use the designations and logos of credentialed professionals in the Dynamics Space.  You’ll also be listed here on the GPUG Site under Learn and Engage as a professional who has this credential.

This link will take you to the discussions on the Summit Boards regarding taking these exams, in person, in Phoenix!  How exciting would it be to get your credentials there with your peers and be able to celebrate this accomplishment with them?

I hope to see all of you at Summit 2018 in Phabulous Phoenix!!!

      Hi

The Beta Test of the GP Distribution Exam happened at GP Tech Conference just this week in Fargo!   It went great and it will be given at Summit!!!

A group of about 10-15 took it at the tech conference and it was a success!

So looking forward to seeing you at the Milwaukee GPUG Meeting next month and again in Phabulous Phoenix!!?
