      Dear Collaborators,

From Weather Underground at 9:00 AM CST:

Weather looking good! We have 56 registered in a room that’ll hold a couple hundred at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI. Plenty of space available. Register hereWe still have about 10 meal tickets remaining (some folks aren’t going to have lunch)… but come anyway to see the great lineup of educational sessions and play GP Jeopardy! We have a pile of Packer-themed prizes (sorry about that, Lions, Bears, and Vikings fans!) too!

      Sincerely,

Sparkly Steve – you Wisconsinites have a strange definition of “good” weather.  ðŸ™‚  I like this Phoenix forecast better.  Although it IS the one day of rain in the forecast.  I’m still waiting for GPUG to fund a trip for the GPUG AllStars (you, Michelle, Beat…..) to be guest speakers in AZ in Feb.  ðŸ™‚

      Kathy,

Well, when the current temperature is 1° F, 39° sounds pretty darned good! Like, that’s way above freezing!

Re: funding a trip… I think you’ll have to organize a few fund raiser bake sales while you wait! Crowd-sourcing, perhaps?

I, personaly, would not trade my Montreal temp for Wisconsin weather.. after all there need to be at least a benefit when traveling south :-). .isn’t it ?
So Arizona looks wayyy better to me. Challenge taken for 2017 to visit another chapter further south where it’s warmer then up North (currently just 32F, but we had roughly -15 to -20C last week (that is somewhere between +5 & -5F).

      Béat,

The benefit, mon ami Québeçois, is that you get to see Lambeau Field!

      Steve,
I’m with you. From what we had this is positively balmy weather for us. In the Twin Cities the average is 23 degrees F for the high. To be getting into the mid-30’s to low 40’s is great.

Yep, January thaw! And I do think that the Packers helped contribute to the heating up!
Join us in Green Bay on Thursday!

As a Bears fan, this is painful, but I have to say that was one exciting finish!  No denying that Rodgers is one of the best QBs around.  Congrats!

      Kathy,

Exciting, you bet! Packer fans remember all too well another “exciting” finish a few seasons ago. The infamous “Fail Mary” during the Monday Night Football game between the Packers and the Seahawks. Gad!
