Vendor Approval Workflow – Escalation Email
We recently implemented the vendor approval workflows in GP. We tested the process in our DEV environment, and everything worked as expected, Now that we are live, we are having an issue where the escalation email is not getting sent. We have just one approver and one escalation point. Escalation should occur after 4 hours. The approver emails are getting sent out correctly and the workflow recognizes when it should escalate, as I can see in the workflow history that it has been escalated after 4 hours. The system just does not send out an email at that point. I have confirmed that the person who should receive the escalation email can receive emails as I added her to the approval emails which she received just fine. I have added another resource to the escalation emails to see if either would receive the notification, but neither did. I just don’t know where else to look. Any thoughts on what could be causing the workflow to escalate but not send out an email to the person it was escalated to?
