How do I update a variable allocation when an account in the allocation is now inactive?Ā Ā

      Thanks, Tracy

Open the variable allocation account window and change the account, either the distribution account or breakdown account. Financial | Cards | Financial | Variable Allocation.
Have you already entered a transaction and the account became inactive before the transaction was posted? If you change the Variable Allocation Account card before you post, the new accounts will be referenced. If you post before changing the account, the transaction will go to Batch Recovery.

?thanks Leslie but it won’t let me update it because the account I need to update to is already in the allocation.Ā  I think I really need to delete the account.Ā  Do you know how that can be done?Ā  Thanks, Tracy

      Hey Tracy,
Right click on the account you want to delete and you will get a menu list where you can choose delete.
      Thanks
