Good morning.Ā  Our organization runs on a fiscal year and we have recently discovered that the period associated with some of our GP transactions is the calendar period, not the fiscal period.Ā  June is our period 1.Ā  Our GP transactions from Purchasing and Payroll display the correct period of 1.Ā  Our GP transactions from Financial (GJ) and the Cash Ledger display the period incorrectly as 6.

We think something is wrong in our set up but cannot find anything.Ā  We would appreciate any ideas.

      Thanks, Tracy

      Hi Tracy.
Are these incorrect periods showing up on reports, Inquiry screens, posted transaction details, or all of the above?

Hi Steve, we see the discrepancy in the transaction tables (GL20000 and GL30000). Ā

      Thanks, Tracy

I suggest running a financial reconcile.
      Tools >> Utlities >> Financial >> Reconcile.
Make sure that you are keeping history in GL setup.
Start with the oldest historical year and reconcile each year to the current year.

If you have concerns, restore into a test company and try it there first.
