Hello,

We are in the process of upgrading from GP 2010 to GP 2016R2 and have noticed in GP 2016 when preparing a Receivings Transaction in the purchasing module that the tax is not automatically populating in the tax distribution account like it currently does in GP 2010. Shouldn’t the tax automatically populate? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Could this possibly be a setup issue? Any suggestions would appreciated. Thank you!

Angie,
That account should default from the Tax Detail setup.

Start by checking that window, if it’s populated then you’ll want to reach out to your partner for deeper testing.
