      We are seeing occasionally where a SOP line item is entered and neither a quantity is allocated nor a backorder quantity created.

      The line at the time entered in sop10200 table looks like this for example
      Quantity=18
      Allocated Quantity=0
      Quantity to Invoice=18
      Quantity Backordered=0
      Quantity Remaining=18
      Quantity Fulfilled=0
      Quantity Cancelled=0
      Quantity Previously Invoiced=0

      In this example there was more than enough quantity available. Regardless of available quantity it should either have allocated quantity or backordered but did neither.

      99.9% of the time it allocates or backorders just fine

      Any idea why this would happen?

      Hi Jeff.
      Was the drop ship option selected on the line? This would explain the absence of an allocation or backorder.

      Kind regards,Ā
      Maria.
