Smart List report not balancing

      I am running a SmartList Report – SMARTLIST>PURCHASING>PAYABLES TRANSACTIONS>VENDOR OUTSTANDING and all the detail in this report balances perfectly to Dynamics GP 2018 AP Trial Balance just fine.
      But when I run SMARTLIST>PURCHASING>VENDORS>” * ”Ā  Ā  report, and add the column “Current Balance” all the accounts balance except 1 – which is out by $14,152.01.

      I had been running these SMARTLISTs for years now, and they always balanced until August 2021, and it is the same amount out since August (the $14,152.01)

      Why would the Current Balance in the VENDORS Smartlist be different then the sum of the TRANSACTIONS?Ā  and how can we get this fixed?

      Hi Tait,
      As a first note, you should avoid posting screen shots in open forums where actual customer data is shown. Try with your screen capture tools to obfuscate the part that is not relevant, like below:


      you can still highlight the relevant numbers to compare with other screenshots, but try to leave personal data out of the captures.Ā 

      As for your question, have you tried to run a reconcile or checklinks against the Vendors ? It might be a transaction that was not fully posted or is half-half (open / history)..Ā

      Thank You Beat Busher for the advise on screen shot (your right), and the suggestion to Reconcile and Check Link (which I did, and the issue is resolved.
