Journal Entries cannot be posted through by default or by system configuration. Only sub ledger entries can be setup to post through. Integrations create journal entries as if someone typed them, so there is still the need to execute the post process.
I think you might want to look to automatic posting products (there are several out there) so that when the integration is run overnight, you also summon the posting process. Depending on the automatic posting product you implement, it may be also done by timing the integration and the posting correctly.
