For several years we have used Scribe to transfer payroll transactions from Dynamics CRM to Dynamics GP 2015 R2.
We now want to map additional CRM data to the Job Number field in the payroll transaction entryĀ in Great Plains. The job number has been enabled using PSTL and is shown on the transaction entry window.
Scribe is not able to write to the job number; it shows the field does not allow datalinks or look ups.
Below is the Scribe properties window.
Has anyone encountered this?
ThankĀ You,
??

I have gotten around this in the past by going into SQL, to the GP company database, to the KSYNCFIELDS table, find the row in the table that corresponds to the object and field you are working with in Scribe in this case it would probably be the UPRComputerCheck object, and the field: Jobnumbr, you can then change the “IS_UPDATEABLE” field to Y, you will then be able to do the datalinks to those fields after you re-open the workbench. Make a backup in case this does not work. It has been years since I did it.
