      Hi.

I’m looking for either the version of Adobe Acrobat that has ‘distilller’ for saving a report to a PDF file, or better yet, a free software (PDF Creator?) that will accomplish the same task.

If you have this functionality working, please let me know how you have accomplished this.

We are currently using GP 2018.

      Thanks,

      Heidi

We use the current version of Adobe, but there are significant issues with Office when you do.Ā  We have actually halted all updates to Office 365 because after a certain update, the PDF integration with GP just stops working.Ā  I’d love to look for another PDF program because I’m really tired of Adobe’s policies and updater.Ā  Let us know what you decide on.

I received a message from Scott which I think answers my question – which is how to save directly to PDF.

Thank you, Scott, and I hope it is alright that I posted and credited you with this reply.

      Hello Heidi,

Microsoft Dynamics GP requires Adode Acrobat Pro, which should include Adobe Distiller in the installation, in order to generate PDF files.

As noted, there are 3rd party options, such as CutePDF, but you cannot directly save to PDF using these. WOuld you need to generate the file to screen, and then print using the PDF printer the 3rd party options install.

      ScottĀ
