I need to remove Sites from a large quantity of items where there is no activity. Is there a feature to do this?

There is a Modify button on the Item List which reads “Unassign Site”. I believe this is the feature you are looking for.

      Hope this helps

      Thanks,

Yes.  Using the left hand menu, go to Inventory.  Choose Items.  On the menu ribbon, you will find Unassign Site.  Use the filter to choose your items.

Thank you, I will try this. However, after a second review I found there is activity in some of the sites I need to delete. I assume this will not work for those item-site combinations.

      Hi,

Where you cannot delete the relationship, you can always mark it as inactive. The Inactive checkbox is on the Item Quantities window. Would that work for you?

Sites can only be removed if there is no activity on them and all of  the quantities are zero.  Often, there are quantities in Returned, In Use, Damaged, etc.  You can transfer those out (assuming you don’t need that information – you have to move them to On Hand and then adjust them out of stock) but then you should be able to remove the site id.
