      Hello all,

Prior to this month the Reconcile to GL tool has worked fine with Multi Entity Management.  This month, however, Reconcile to GL is no longer pulling in the Receivables or Payables transactions specific to the Entity selected.  It is pulling ALL Receivables or Payables transactions within GP.  The GL side of the report is still fine though, pulling just the selected Entity.

We did the GP 2013 update last week, but I don’t know whether that would have had an effect…

Does anyone have any suggestions before I reach out to our partner?

      Thank you!

      Hi Amy,

I would reach out directly to Nolan.  We use ABR too, and have noticed some unexpected behavior as well.  My users have reported that the JE entry window closes after entering a single JE.  In the past, the window would stay open to allow them to enter additional JE’s.  Nolan told us that other customers were experiencing similar issues, and that it was due to a recent update to ABR.

      Hope this helps!

I believe that MEM is from Binary Stream.  First make sure the security did not get updated to just the GP form versus the MEM form.  After that I would contact Binary Stream.

Jim, you are correct!  I use both Nolan’s ABR & Binary Stream’s MEM, and the term ‘reconcile to GL’ made me think immediately of the bank rec!

Sorry Amy! I agree with Jim’s advice.

Thanks for the responses.  I’ve been in touch with Binary Stream, and it turns out that the GP year end update we recently installed is not compatible with our current version of MEM.  A new version of MEM will be available for us to install later this week, and this should resolve our issues.
