?When I do statements each month the repot that GP gives me after they are ran keeps telling me that I have an invalid recipient.Ā  Does this mean I have the email address in the wrong part of the customer card? Do I have it in the wrong sport? Any suggestions would be helpful.

      Hi ,

Are you getting it for all customers or just a specific one or series of one?Ā  Below are a few of the items I see that often cause this:

1.) You have an incomplete email (i.e. @ gmail.co instead of gmail.com) on the customer card.
2.) You’ve got multiple emails assigned to a single customer line and you’re using invalid characters (i.e. commas instead of a semi colon).
3.) You’ve set the customer up for Email based on doc type, but then you didn’t go in and actually assign emails to the various doc types.
4.) If you upgraded from an old version of GP ?(pre GP 2013) to a more recent version, there was a change on the receivables set up window where the Email Statement
Status Recipients window was removed.Ā  Depending on what your settings were before, that could cause a problem.Ā  Below is a link that walks through this in more detail.

      https://blog.professionaladvantage.com/collections-management-tips-tricks/fixing-could-not-e-mail-status-report-to-sender-invalid-recipients-error-in-gp-2013/ ?

Are you trying to use the word template version of statements?Ā  If so, are you able to print the word template statement for the problematic customer(s) without issue? I haven’t generally seen the invalid recipients on a word template issue, but they can be particular so I won’t rule it out as a possibility straight away.Ā Ā

That should be a starting point.Ā  If that doesn’t resolve the issue or you have questions, just let me know.

      Best,

      Samantha
