Are you using Purchase Orders when purchasing inventory and what version of GP are you on?

Hi Debra,
You will probably want to use the prepayment feature in purchase order. Go to the purchase order setup to get started. Now when you in purchase order you can enter the prepayment then click on the blue expansion button. From there you can enter credit card information. Hope that helps! Mike

I am working on GP2010. My screens for set up do not show a prepayment section. This must be for a later version? If so, I will not to note it to view in GP2015 when we upgrade.

I do not think it matters how you eventually pay for the item; it’s the initial purchase that puts the item in the purchases table so that you can capitalize it. What problems are you experiencing? Kind regards, Leslie
