Before I try and do one for myself, does anyone have or know if there is a basic GP pricing diagram/flow model?

      Thanks

      HeyĀ

If you need powerful pricing options that sit on top of standard pricing, have a look at Omni Price. I originally developed the product and sold it to Rockton Software when I joined Microsoft.

      David?

Thanks, but for the moment I just want a diagram/flow of the basic pricing model in out of the box GP.

      ?Hey Jeff –

It seems like years ago I was able to easily find guides to things like pricing and sales tax and the ‘complicated’ pieces that all fit together.Ā  I quickly scanned what I had and couldn’t find it a flow type diagram – or even quick notes that weren’t specific to my customers, but I do go old school sometimes and go to the “Help” screens in GP.

If you are on the Item Price List Maintenance screen and hit the F1 (Help) and “About this Window”, you will get a pretty nice little overview.Ā  Then if you click on the standard pricing, it will open up the index with all the pieces you need to setup in order for GP pricing to work.

Here is the index list you get when you go to the standard and extended pricing drilldown:

I know it isn’t exactly what you are lookin gfor, but perhaps it would be a good place to cust/paste the info into your own doc?Ā  It goes thru each step if you follow it logically.

Good luck, and it seems it you do create it, perhaps others will be able to use your diagram in the future.
