When you generate the EFT File, GP adds the following data to the file name:

[space]Checkbook Name[space]Date[space]Sequence number

This verbiage is inserted into the middle of the bank required file name specified in the Default Output Files thus making it invalid for processing.

Does anyone know how to disable the addition of the extra text?

I resolved this.  The bank required us to place a period in front of the company identifier.  GP interpreted that period as the end of the file name and inserted its default text.  We are now asking the bank to change that period to something else.

Our normal process is to change the name of the file before submitting it to the bank.
