The site is down.. I’m hoping and praying it’s just a glitch on the server or a temporary issue.

      Hi Rob

You know that GP Power Tools Resource information feature can provide all the data on all resources in all installed Dynamics products.

In fact, a number of the spreadsheets with lists of tables and fields were created with GP Power Tools (formerly Support Debugging Tool).

I’ve found that DynDeveloper.com (http://dyndeveloper.com/menus/DynamicsGP.aspx) is also a good reference site.  I typically will bounce between both it and GPTableReference when researching tables.

We are no longer updating the SDK, but whenever we do our upgrade blog series, we do a blog on table changes.  Recently I have been adding SDK parameter change as well that we are finding.

I’ve found that DynDeveloper.com (http://dyndeveloper.com/menus/DynamicsGP.aspx) is also a good reference site.  I typically will bounce between both it and GPTableReference when researching tables.

Terry, what would we do without you?

Can you add a link to the blog that lists parameter changes for GP2016?

It’s very disturbing to me that the SDK and parameter lists are not being updated.  As a developer, I rely on those things when creating or upgrading custom software.  So when an update comes out, and my program is calling a GP procedure, it will be tedious at best to figure out what the new input and output parameters are.

Here is a link, if anyone would like to vote for it, to a suggestion to have Microsoft release a comprehensive table and field value list:

Also, please vote for this suggestion for Microsoft to provide documentation of the core parameters:

      Hi all

Please vote on the MS Connect suggestions in the attached blog which are to get all the documentation updated.

      https://winthropdc.wordpress.com/2016/06/22/msconnect-gp-microsoft-dynamics-gp-2016-documentation/

Both the application documentation and the SDK need updating.

Sorry, I see I accidently copied what Jason wrote….wow…

Here is the blog that has table changes and I added SDK changes to it.

I understand your concern and thanks for entering the suggestion, but for the mean time we will have to collaborate together and learn from each other.  You can always shoot me a quick email to look up a parameter, I’m more than willing!
