It’s happened twice now to the same user that when she went to enter a Bank Trx Entry (Trxs >> Financials >> Bank Trx) she noticed the number was one she had already used.
Any ideas why the number might not have updated?
This has happened twice (that we noticed) , six months apart. This is happening on GP2015R2. I don’t recall it ever happening on previous versions. I don’t think it’s a huge issue but I think it should not be happening at all.
Any plausible explanations on why this might have happened (ex: could another user have “locked” the setup file so the number did not update?) and any ideas on preventing it happening in the future?
