So we have a third party WMS solution that has a GP agent that is meant to be left running 24/7. They of course don’t handle the User Date message that pops up at midnight… I can take care of that with the SuppressChangeDateDialog=TRUE dex.ini switch. As far as actually changing the date I was thinking of just using .NET to trigger after the DisplayAndDeleteUserMessage procedure and compare DateTime.Today to UserDate, if Today is equal to UserDate.AddDays(1) then invoke SetUserDateOnDps and SetUserDateOnToolbar. Anyone see any gotchas, or am I missing any additional procs that need to get called?

-Edit: I know PSTL has the ability to do this, but I’d like to keep that as a option of last resort.

      Hi

You need to update ‘User Date’ of globals at the Dexterity level.

What is shown on the windows or UI elements is irrelevant.

You should be able to do that with pass through sanscript, or maybe with standard .Net code referencing global variables.

      Matthew,

Hmmm…Ā  a WMS that is only good for one day.Ā  Curious to hear what their solution is…Ā  manually restart the GP client every morning?

      , Bingo!

, invoking both of these function has the effect of updating the global User Date (which is read only in .NET).??
