      I have done a little research on this, and they are saying i need to do a return.Ā  Ā Do i need to do a return to void the receiving’s transaction to a already posted batch?Ā  Ā Any help would be appreciated.Ā Ā

      I am pretty sure the only way to back out a receiving transaction is to do a return.

      Hi Nicole –
      Yes, you will need to process a “returns transaction entry”. If you select the box “replace returned goods” this will remove the quantity from inventory, put the quantity back to the PO and adjust GL accounts.
