Does anyone know how to run a trial balance report with multiple, non-consecutive same GL segments? Ā For example, where segments 3 are either 100, 300 or 500?

      Thanks, Tracy

Yes!Ā  This is one of my favorite features.

On the Navigation Pane, choose Financial, then click on Accounts – it may take a couple of minutes to build.Ā  In the example below, I set filters where seg 1 = 100 or seg 1 = 300 or seg 1 = 500.Ā  Then click the arrow beside the last filter to run the filter.Ā  Once you have the accts that match what you wanted, click the checkboxes beside the applicable accts (or click the checkbox to the right of Account Number to select them all) andĀ  click reports.Ā  The drop down list will show Trial Balance and you’ll get a TB for the selected accts.

      Thanks
      Windi

OH MY GOSH! Ā I never knew about this feature and it will be so extremely helpful. Ā Do you know if you can save the reports? Ā

      Thank you so much Windi!

Yes – again a cool feature! Ā  When you get the filters set the way you want, click AccountsSave As and give it a name.Ā  Then it will show as an option under Accounts on the Navigation Pane.Ā  When you Save As, you can also define who will be able to see your saved favorite.

      Enjoy!
