I am looking at beginning to run MRP. We have two main manufacturing sites, with sub-level manufacturing within each. I am curious, for those who are currently running MRP, how exceptions are dealt with?
Are the exceptions reviewed by a single individual, by department managers, etc?
Just curious as to any structural changes we may need to consider as a result of using MRP.
Thanks

Hi Jeff – MRP exceptions are the responsibility of the assigned planner or buyer for the items with MRP exceptions. Keith
