Greetings,

I have two users, of many, who is getting this error:

“Report Name” is locked by one or more schedules. Do you want to open it in read only?

This user is a new Designer.  I added a test user account with the same permissions and it has the same issue.

There is one Scheduled group of reports and those are the reports that she is unable to open.

I have taken away and re-added her security.  I have confirmed that the reports are not checked out.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Heidi,

I am guessing that the user in question has Designer permissions. In the Modify User window, in security, you need to check the box for “Edit scheduled building blocks”.

Hope that is the issue.
