We recently added a new account in GP but when trying to add this account to a Management Reporter report, the new account isn’t displaying as an option. We’ve tried running the Refresh Cached Financial Data Tool, but the account still isn’t showing up. Any trouble shooting tips would be much appreciated! ?

We do utilize a Data Mart for Management Reporter and we were able to reconcile our balances with GP today with the exception of the new GL that was added yesterday. Do you think rebuilding the Data Mart would help in this situation and is it a simple process?

The account usually will have to have data first before it shows. You can add the account manually to the row definition (or column or tree). Also make note that the default company you have set in Management Reporter will also dictate what you see in the GL dimensions and pick lists.
Rebuilding the datamart would most likely help in this case. It’s something that is pretty simple and usually fixes these items. If you aren’t using analytical accounting or currency translation, I would recommend you use the legacy connector versus the datamart.
If you have report designer open already when the new account is added to GP, it won’t show up until you close and reopen report designer.
You can also always type it in like Derek mentioned.
Thanks!
