Is there anyway to pull either Extender fields or OLE Notes fields using Management Reporter?

We have additional detail from out A/P automation system that we’d like to pass into GP (in either Extender or transaction-level OLE notes fields) & then use Management Reporter transaction level detail to pull into P&L reports.

My thinking is that if there were a way to pull SQL tables/views using MR, this would be the best approach.

      Thoughts? Experiences?
      Thanks all,
      Kyle

      Kyle,

I would look into getting this information using something other than Management Reporter. Ā If you are using Extender you could look at SmartList Builder, also from eOne Solutions. Ā Or you could likely use SSRS Reports to accomplish what you are looking for.

Management Reporter has specific table structures, especially since they have started using the Data Mart.

      Kyle,

From what we know of Management Reporter, there isn’t a way to pull in any table/view that you would like from your databases.Ā  It is a predefined list of data that you can access.Ā  Because of this, you cannot pull in outside data like Extender.

You can easily create SQL Views in Extender and pull them into other applications such as SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, etc.Ā  You can also link to any Extender Window/Form that you create automatically in SmartList Builder (from eOne as mentioned) if having the “report” in SmartList, Excel, or as a Navigation List works for you.

      Thanks,
      Nicole

?We have a number of customers that do that function in BI360.Ā Ā Ā  You can make a custom view and then customization into BI360 and use Custom Drilldown to few the data in a CPM report.
