Hi!
Does anyone have any recommendations for getting to know the ABCs of management report? I would like to help improve our current reports without breaking them!

If you just want to modify a current report, I would suggest doing a save as, on the rows and columns in a current report, so you could change out a row with the new version after you have modified it. That way if you don’t like what it did, then you can pull the original row back into your report.

I just saw this. Are you still looking for Management Reporter help? I’ve been working with MR since I was at Microsoft when they developed it and rolled it out to replace FRx. Do you have specific questions or just looking for training in general?

Noah, I’m new to GP and was looking through the discussions for some help on producing financial statements from GP, specifically the P&L statement. I am frustrated that when I run YTD period reports for the current year and the previous year for comparison, sometimes they don’t work and sometimes they do by just re-running them. Here is what I’m talking about (see screenshot1 and screenshot2) when they don’t work and yet re-running it works, and I can’t see rhyme or reason as to why.
