?We have a fairly complicated report that typically takes 10 minutes or so to finish processing in MR.Ā  Over the past few days I have tried to run the report but it remains in the Queued status for hours.Ā  When I “remove” the report stays in the cancelling status and is never really removed.Ā  Short of changing the report, any ideas on how I can get it to complete?Ā  Thanks, Tracy

      ,

What version of GP and what Management Reporter Cumulative Update are you using? How many users in GP typically? Remote Desktop access or is GP installed on individual workstations? Management Reporter using the legacy back-end database or the data warehouse?

      Just the facts, ma’am!

      Regards,?

      ?Hi Tracey,

I would recommend stopping and starting the two MR services that are running on the Management Reporter server. You can do this under Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services — OR — Go into Management Reporter’s Configuration Console. That might solve it. If it doesn’t, try re-booting the Management Reporter server.

      ?…other note to add:

      • Yes, restart the Mgt Reporter services to reiterate
      • IĀ would shy away from running report with transaction level on larger/longer reports with many rows/Periodic monthly columns/large trees and just generate with Financial & Account
      • if the RAM on the Mgt Reporter server is increased that is an inexpensive, easy fix

      ,

You mean that running a Transaction-level P&L? that generates 600,000 rows in the Reporting.ReportLineTransaction table might be pushing it? Tell me about it!
