Recently someone with access to the Interfund Setup Window inactivated Interfund Management  by unchecking the Activate Interfund Management check box. As you can imagine, this caused significant issues for accounting.

Access to Interfund Setup is already limited to small number accounting users and I have been challenged to lock it down further.  

What I would like to do remove access to the Activate Interfund Management checkbox for one the security roles who current have access to it.  

Is this possible?

Hi ,

You could use Field Level Security to disable/remove the checkbox or create a password that is required when saving (within the FLS settings, you can specify the users who have this restriction). Another possibility is to create a modified version of the window and remove the checkbox altogether. Then, grant the users access to the modified form who you do not want to have that checkbox.

It certainly is, I tested this and here are the settings I used:

Here is a drill in to how I set it up

Assign it only to the user(s) you want it to affect

It will then immediately be locked for users to be unable to change.
