We currently use Dynamics for both HR and Payroll, but will be moving the HR function over to Sage People.  Since Payroll will continue in GP, we will need to integrate data between the two systems.  Does anyone have experience integrating these two systems?  We have been told that they will integrate easily, but of course we have heard that before!  Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

I do not have experience writing integrations from Sage People, but I do have experience writing payroll and HR integrations from a few other sources.

The question you pose is complex, so, to answer thoroughly we’ll need to know exactly WHAT aspects you are trying to integrate. 

With GP, the integration needs are dependent on what you are integrating, but the rule is that if the data can be put into Excel or a SQL table then it can be integrated with GP – the complexity lies in WHAT is integrated.??

With that said, you should ask your team what they are using to build the integration – this will also affect it’s success.

Since you are already using the GP PR/HR functionality, what made you guys decide to move over to Sage People?
