      Greetings,
I’m trying to implement a Spanish version of the GP client.Ā  I found a great post (link below), but appears this caters to GP2013 R2.Ā  We are currently running GP2013 SP1 (and cannot upgrade right now).Ā

      http://www.erpsoftwareblog.com/2015/02/3-simple-steps-add-spanish-french-language-packs-dynamics-gp/

These are the download files referenced in the above article, but the download is specific to R2.

      https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/northamerica/gp/downloads/MDGP2013_Release_Download

Does anyone have advice on where to find the SP2 version of the language packs? Thanks in advance.

      Jim

      Hi Jim,
I’m not sure if you’re mixing up stuff here.. first you say you’re on 2013 SP1 and then you’re looking for the SP2 download link…Ā
In the Customer Source link you provided, you have to click on the hyperlink that says ‘previous downloads’ :Ā
      https://mbs.microsoft.com/files/customer/GP/Downloads/productreleases/MDGP2013_PreviousReleaseDownloads.pdf

This opens up a PDF file that contains other hyperlinks to previous downloads and there you’ll find both SP1 & SP2 for Spanish Latin America..Ā

      Hope this helps.

, Thanks!Ā  You’re right, we’re SP2.Ā  Thanks for the link.Ā  I did eventually find that and was able to download the Spanish client that matches our build.Ā  I’m about to install in my dev environment this morning.Ā  I’ll update with my progress.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!

      Great !
Let me know how your testing goes.. I’m tempted to try it with the FR-CA client, as I never touched, not wanting to bother with a double configuration to maintain.. but at some point may have to come up with a POC that it works at least due to our local bylaw about ‘French’ first..

      Hi Jim

Why not just install a new client in a new folder and select Spain for the country?

I am in Spain right now, cycling the Camino de Santiago. ??

PS: GP Power Tools Company Login Filter feature can make sure that the Spanish install can only log into the Spanish company.

      David,
I can picture you cycling with a laptop on your handlebars!Ā  Thanks for rubbing it in!

When I did my install on my test server, I did just that, installed to new directory and it worked just fine. Fortunately, we have a dedicated terminal server for our Latin America offices, so I’ll have only the ESLA version installed (took a bit extra to translate every menu option!).Ā Ā

      Thanks and enjoy your journey!
      Jim
