      Dear Collaborators,

Up to now, I’ve resisted posting here about the new Green Bay GPUG Chapter Kickoff meeting coming up on January 19th. But things are getting exciting and I can’t hold back any longer!

First of all, it’s at Lambeau Field in Green Bay!

Even better, the meeting is in the Miller Lite Lounge on the south end of the field. We could host a couple hundred people in that room! Here’s a snapshot I took last August during the Packers pre-season:

You can see the stadium through the windows on the right. That whole side of the room is a glass wall overlooking the Frozen Tundra. It’s up on the 4th floor of Lambeau.

The Lambeau Kitchens will be serving lunch. That’s the only limitation we’ve got for this meeting: the meal budget. We can feed 60. So, if you choose to register for the meeting, please treat it like an invitation to a wedding reception. That is, show up! We don’t want to throw any food away!

      There are

       53!

people registered so far, though three of them are foregoing the lunch. So we have 10 meal tickets left with 9 days to go!

The meeting runs from 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM, and we have a full slate of educational sessions. We’ve tried to make it as much like a micro-Summit as we can:

      8:30
Sign in & join us for coffee
      9:00
Introductions, GPUG Business, & door prizes!
      9:45
First Educational Session: John Kirsch, Senior Consultant for Wipfli on Workflow for Dynamics GP (hometown boy!)
      10:30
      Break
      10:40
Member Showcase: Green Bay Packers (Yes! They use Dynamics GP!)
      10:55
Second Educational Session: Dan O’Rourke, CPA, of Wolters Kluwer on Tax (visiting from Riverwoods, IL)
      11:45
Lunch & Round Table discussions (We’ll divide up the crowd into several round tables during lunch so that you can eat and get your GP questions answered.)
      12:45
GPUG Jeopardy with prizes! Come up with the right GP and Packers questions to win!
      1:30
Third Educational Session: Bob McAdam, Program Director of GPUG on GP Upgrades (visiting from Tampa, FL)
      2:15
      Break
      2:25
Fourth Educational Session: Michael Porreca of Tribridge on Power BI (visiting from Pittsburgh, PA)
      3:15
      Meeting ends

You can read about each of our presenters (and register for the meeting) on the Green Bay Kickoff page.

For those of you who can’t commit to this full-day schedule, how about these options?

      • Come for the morning sessions, join us for lunch, and go back to work energized!
      • Get a sense of accomplishment by getting your work done in the morning, join us for lunch, and stay for the afternoon sessions!

Again, we only have a budget for 60 free lunches at Lambeau… but there are restaurants in the Lambeau Field Atrium. No need to go hungry. There’s no limit to the attendance for this meeting! The Miller Lite Lounge is enormous.

And you don’t come to these meetings just for lunch anyway, right? It’s the content, the contacts, the collaboration, and the learning. And, yeah, the door prizes, too! We’ll have multiple Packer-themed door prizes to give away as well as prizes for the winners of the GPUG Jeopardy game!

Oh, and since we’re meeting at Lambeau Field, make sure to wear

      Packer colors!

Thank you for reading this. We’re very pumped up about this Kickoff meeting, as you can see. Come join us!

      Sincerely,
