Greeting,
I am trying to confirm if there is any restriction on the format of the User ID in GP.   In my experience, there seems to be a theme of first initial, last name(jsmith).  I want to verify there is no issue if I start using First.Last (john.smith).  I’ll only be using a dot between name and no other characters will be used.  I was not able to find any discussions on this topic and hope someone can help!

There is no restriction in GP on using . in the user id.——————————————-

Be careful, however, that you have a plan for when first.last cannot be used for user id because the length exceeds the max 16 characters——————————————-
