I have been using GP Macros for years and it has been great to automate many repetitive processes.
I typically set up macros to be called from a command file and the macro will auto-login to GP, run the intended procedure (ie Aging) and when finished auto close GP and then run the next task.
The problem I have now is how to do that same process with a GP report.
I can get the process to auto-login to GP, select the report, update any report settings, and print report to file. The problem lies in that from that point I can’t seem to get it to then auto close GP, it is just left hanging in the report config form.
Any ideas on auto-closing GP after running a report?

Jeff, I ran into a similar problem years ago when I was having an automated job scheduled once a week to run Inventory reconcile..Ā I had GPPT at the time as well and despite the order to close & exit GP at the end of the macro process, it would never do it.. Somehow there was a pop-up coming on screen to confirm the completion of the reconcile that would prevent GP to exit.Ā Maybe a newer build of GP can take care of that nasty pop-up if that’s what holding you up too..
