I am wondering if anyone knows of a better way to do a Credit Card Reconciliation on Great Plains especially when there is a credit that is higher than the expense for a particular vendor.
I normally download the file from our bank and work on it in a spreadsheet. Once it is complete I would integrated into GP. Anyone have a better solution on doing this?
Thank you!

Calvina –
We have a Credit Card / P-card reconciliation solution that automates the process you describe below. The way it works is – the statement from the bank is either automatically imported into Gorilla Expense on a daily basis -OR- if you want to control the statement import process, you can manually import using Excel. Once the statement is imported, all the coding can be completed for the different line items in our application. After that, we provide an automated integration of the data into GP (typically into Payables as an invoice).
You can read more here: P-Card Reconciliation. If you would like to see a live demo, feel free to give me a shout.

Hi Calvina,
We have clients who use our Advanced Bank Rec solution to also reconcile credit cards. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like more information and you can look at our ABR solution on our website here.
Best regards,
