      Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if there is a resource that will make it available for users information on GP Available Tables, their elements and what are they used for….Thanks

I’m trying to understand where information is stored and the correct table to access for this information…Thanks

      Hi Ernesto

I would suggest installing the SDK (Software Development Kit) from the Tools folder of the Microsoft Dynamics GP installation DVD image. It contains ER (Entity Relationship) diagrams as well as documentation on transaction flows and table contents.

Victoria Yudin MVP also has a great reference on her site: https://victoriayudin.com/gp-tables/

I would also look at my blog post on the topic.

      https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/developingfordynamicsgp/2008/10/04/finding-table-and-field-information-in-microsoft-dynamics-gp/

On point 12 of the above article it mentions using the SDT’s Resource Information window. The SDT has been replaced by GP Power Tools and the Resource Information window is even more powerful. See http://WinthropDC.com/GPPT

There is lots of information out there.

      David

In addition to the resources already mentioned, I also use DynDeveloper.com

I frequently use a site called DynDeveloper (http://dyndeveloper.com/)  It has the tables broken down by module, as well as additional info on eConnect, Visual Studio Tools, .NET development, etc.
