[Kim Chambers]

We have had a couple situations when running checks, the system randomly skips a check number.  The number does not appear as void, etc on the safepay report…just doesn’t appear and thereby throwing off the check sequence.  Any ideas what is going on?

?Hello Kim & Frank,

Thank you for posting this question and answer on Check Skipping.  Check Skipping happens every now and then within my GP system and I could not figure out the reason why it would happen.  With Frank’s suggested response (which I have forwarded to my AP team) I hope eliminate the checks skipped in GP.
